Brooks Auction holds monthly auctions consisting of up to 100 consignors and selling up to 5,000 articles. Items range from 18th century antiques to contemporary used furniture to vehicles, tractors, tools and everything in between. We specialize in estates and private collections as well as perform full clean outs. Each auction is absolute and offered with no reserves on any items for any reason. 1. CONSULTATION

The first step in consigning with Brooks Auction is scheduling a FREE, no obligation, on-site consultation or, for faster turnaround, e-mailing photographs to info@bobbrooksauction.com. Items will be assessed for their age, condition, rarity, and value in the current market. During this initial consultation, we can provide estimates regarding labor rates and commission rates. We can also provide recent realized prices of similar items in an effort to ensure your utmost satisfaction with our services.

2. CONSIGNMENT

Arrangements are made for your items to be hauled by Brooks Auction or delivered by the consignor to our facility at:

There, your consignment will be unpacked, cleaned, and set up for auction. The auction house is divided into 3 areas: antiques, general home goods, and the yard. All items will be inspected by the auctioneers and sorted to one of the areas where it may be inspected until the time of the auction.

3. MARKETING

Items will be advertised by our specialists, providing expert description and reaching all potential buyers through extensive marketing to ensure exposure to top collectors and dealers. Each auction is advertised via social media, email campaigns, and old fashioned postal flyers. Some items may be highlighted with individual photographs and descriptions, but all items will be available for physical inspection prior to the auction day.

4. AUCTION

Items can be viewed for inspection any time during normal business hours prior to the confirmed auction date.

Special preview days are held the weekend immediately prior to the auction when bidder registration, absentee bidding, and phone bidding options become available. The entire facility is protected by 24-hour video surveillance and monitored by Brooks Auction staff. Items may also be previewed after hours by special appointment

5. PROCEEDS & STATEMENTS

Proceeds and statements are available for pickup on the Saturday immediately following the sale date. This statement will include an itemized list of inventory and realized prices. Proceeds and statements not picked up will be mailed on the Monday one week from the end of the sale. We offer one of the quickest turnarounds in the industry. Issues and matters of contention with the consignment proceed and statement must be brought to attention within 30 days of the auction date. COMMISSION RATES and APPLICABLE FEES

Commission rates per article sold:

$5.00 – $50.00 = 25%

$51.00 – $150.00 = 22.5%

$151.00 – $350.00 = 20%

$351.00 – $500.00 = 17.5%

$501.00 and up = 15%
